Privacy policy
MXLV Management collects only what is needed to evaluate an engagement, check conflicts, and communicate with you. We do not sell personal information.
Effective September 5, 2026
1. Who we are
This policy applies to MXLV Management (“MXLV,” “we,” “us”) and to this website. We are a United States fire and security technology delivery firm. We provide outsourced design coordination, project management, program support, and owner representation. We do not install systems, sell hardware, or take payment on this website.
Privacy requests: support@mxlvmanagement.com.
2. Scope
This policy covers information collected through this website, including the engagement brief, and information you send us by email about a possible or active engagement. It does not cover third-party sites we link to, or information we receive later under a signed confidentiality agreement or professional-services contract — those documents control if they conflict with this page.
3. Information we collect
You provide:
- Identifiers — name, work email, phone (optional), company name.
- Professional information — which side of the job you sit on (integrator, electrical, owner/facilities, CM), the service you are asking for, facility type, region, and urgency.
- Project description — free-text notes about systems, schedule, or where the work hurts. Treat that field as business correspondence, not a place for secrets.
Collected automatically by our host or mail provider, as is typical for any site:
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, date/time, and referring URL.
- Basic server logs needed to operate and secure the site.
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, payment-card data, passwords, badge credentials, panel codes, or biometric identifiers on this site. Do not send them.
4. How we use it
We use this information to:
- Receive and acknowledge an engagement brief (including a reference such as MXLV-1042).
- Check project conflicts before we propose work.
- Assess fit, urgency, geography, and commercial model.
- Reply to you, schedule a diagnostic, and, if we proceed, prepare an agreement.
- Keep records required for insurance, professional standards, and law.
- Protect the site against spam and abuse (including a hidden honeypot field).
We do not use engagement data to train public machine-learning models. We do not run advertising networks or sell mailing lists. Follow-up is about the inquiry you sent, not a newsletter you did not ask for.
5. How we share it
We share personal information only as needed to run the firm:
- Mail delivery. Briefs are emailed to support@mxlvmanagement.com through a form-to-email processor so we actually receive them.
- Microsoft. Intake mail is stored in our Outlook mailbox.
- Website hosting. The platform that serves this site may process technical logs.
- Professional partners. If a jurisdiction requires a licensed PE, we may share job facts with that engineer on a need-to-know basis after a conflict check.
- Insurers, accountants, and counsel when reasonably required.
- Law or safety. If we are legally required, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm or fraud.
We will not represent both the integrator and the owner on the same project. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used in California law.
6. Cookies and tracking
This marketing site does not use advertising cookies, analytics pixels, or third-party ad trackers. The host may set a strictly necessary cookie or similar technical token to deliver the page. We do not currently operate customer accounts or a login on this site.
7. Retention
Unsuccessful or declined inquiries are kept long enough to complete the conflict check and a reasonable follow-up, then deleted or archived with our ordinary email retention. If we are engaged, information becomes part of the job file and is kept for the life of the engagement plus the period our insurers, contracts, and applicable law require — often several years after closeout on construction and life-safety work.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures (access-limited mailbox, TLS in transit on this site, spam controls). Email is not a secure channel for passwords, credentials, or controlled documents. If a job requires a protected file exchange, we will say so after the diagnostic.
9. What not to include in a brief
Do not include passwords, badge or panel credentials, network diagrams marked restricted, personal data of building occupants, or information you are not authorized to share. You are responsible for having the right to send us the project facts in your brief.
10. Children
This site is for commercial fire and security professionals and building owners. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
11. State privacy rights
Depending on where you live (including California, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, and similar state laws), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, and to appeal a denial. Because we are a professional-services firm and we do not sell personal information, there is no “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” toggle to operate — we already do not sell or share for advertising.
Sensitive personal information, as defined under California law, is not collected on this site for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.
To exercise a request, email support@mxlvmanagement.com with subject line “Privacy request,” from the address we have on file when possible. We may need to verify it is you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Authorized agents may contact the same address.
12. Changes
We will post updates on this page and change the effective date. Material changes to how we use engagement briefs will apply to information collected after the new date, unless we are required to do otherwise.
