For owners, developers & facilities
We protect the fire and security scope from design through acceptance.
General contractors manage structure and schedule. They rarely have deep command of fire alarm, access control, video, intrusion, emergency communication, or the network those systems live on. MXLV is the specialist next to the owner — or underneath the CM.
That includes public owners. Cities, counties, school districts, state agencies, and federal facilities hire MXLV the same way a private owner does: one side of the project, fire and security only, no installation and no hardware.
Where this pays for itself
01 Define
Technology scope, basis of design, Division 28 intent, and what “done” means before anyone bids.
02 Select
Integrator procurement, bid-leveling, and technical evaluation that sees through a low number.
03 Coordinate
Design review, construction coordination, change-order scrutiny, electrical and IT interfaces.
04 Accept
Testing oversight, commissioning, punch close, turnover packages the facilities team can actually use.
Someone has to own the technology scope.
If that person is currently “whoever is left standing at commissioning,” you already know the cost.
